As the gag goes, once we get the AI to act human enough it can click on ads and the whole thing can run itself without any work by humans anymore.

Even before 2022 I suspect a lot of the content they trained on was already generated by cruder forms of AI anyway so maybe it was born diseased. Not that actual human generated content isn't full of falsehoods, fad based facts and cir

There were several movies with a similar theme that came out around this time. The 13th Floor is another good one, although Dark City and Matrix were better IMO. I think the backdrop of the Internet really taking off sort of had everyone th

Those are good arguments for game chat but it seems generally terrible for forums. The argument I've seen for forums is people do not want to deal with the burden of hosting and securing forum software. But that is an explanation for r

A woman at work recently told me she naps in her car after her daily walk. It made me think that I could probably put the back seat down in my car and put an inflatable mattress on it and nap anywhere.

I was also fairly obsessed with modding this game, which is strange because I'm not really a massive Star Wars fan. The cog language (more or less C syntax) was far more powerful than the base game really made use of. I think the grapp

Morrowind's predecessor Daggerfall had randomly generated dungeons. Overall, they were pretty bad although they were kind of interesting and added variety. I got the impression they randomly stuck basic dungeon chunks together to build

The 3060 is kind of hated for it's unexciting performance in more gaming oriented crowd, at least until the uniformly terrible 3050ti showed up to absorb all the hate. But the 12GB is the second highest available on that series and eno

There are those cheapo dummy plugs that present as a microphone when inserted into the 3.5mm slot, which mutes the main mic. Of course, this strikes me as a software behavior that could be overridden. Other than that I think the pinephone a
