This is why diffs / LoC is a terrible metric. It shows nothing other than a willingness to push large changesets upstream.

Im just tuning out of the whole master vs main discussion. I use whatever is the default branch name of my current project OR what git init gives me. When / if git init produces a default branch named main, i'll use that.

Tell yourself everyone else feels the same. If that is true or not is impossible to prove, so just assume it’s an universal truth and move on with your life

A somewhat contrarian perspective is that this diagram is so simple and widely used and has been reproduced (ie redrawn) so many times that is very easy to assume this does not have a single origin and that its public domain.

Its classic Elon over-promising. Problem with robots is that they are useless without AI, while cars can be driven by a human, so as long as controls work and range is good they are viable

I seem to remember there was a large (indian?) educational YouTuber who did a tutorial on how to use Git where they forked a FOSS repo, made a change to the README.md and then made a PR. This caused a huge influx of garbage PRs for that par

The persona he presented in social media was very angry and smug. I always liked reading dilbert growing up, but it’s difficult for me to read Scott Adams comics now without the echo of his angry rants in the back of my mind.
