What JS features are chrome exclusive other than maybe a few ES6 features nobody else has implemented yet?

Wow, I've actually read through Brogue's level generation code, and this is an excellent writeup. Makes many aspects of it much clearer!

You'd probably need to adapt the data structure to the point where it would be too different to be considered the same.

I think the latter is fairly reasonable. They may have invented it, but at this point it has been done an awful lot, and someone could be forgiven for being sick of it. Shakespeare's writing OTOH is still outstanding even if the storie

And this happens regularly! I know of experts in programming languages[0], compression[1], graphics[2, 3], and computational geometry[3] who all have sites that both have excellent content, and look fairly awful. [0]: http://pium

If I depend on Frobnicator 1.2 and Frobnicator-utils x.y, and that version of the utils depends on and bundles Frobnicator 1.0, then Frobnicator objects created with the utils lib may not be compatable with Frobnicator 1.2. Moreover, if the

Here's a fairly well reasoned argument to the contrary: http://number-none.com/blow/john_carmack_on_inlined_code.htm... It boils down to the fact that it's very easy to have unexpected state dependencies/

I think you're assuming libc is more robust and useful than it actually is. Libc is extremely minimal (and is full of pitfalls as well). JS has an extremely large and robust standard library in comparison.

Well, you can do it in O(log(n)) time instead of O(n) time. But n is unlikely to be large enough for this to even matter a little bit.

How the modules get loaded isn't specified either. All that's specified ATM are the syntax and static semantics. The loader spec probably has to be finished before any browser implements es6 modules.

That's probably because OpenGL doesn't do antialiasing by default. When it does it, it does it by rendering everything at a larger scale and downscaling it (well, actually MSAA allows the GL to avoid having to do this to everythi

It's awkward because CSS offers no good way to talk about the relationship between two things (it's very much 'one thing at a time'), whereas relationships between things are pretty much all layout is about.

Partially importing symbols from a header file in C++ could easily lead to bugs due to the way that name resolution and ADL work. I think doing this in a satisfactory way would end up being extremely complicated, and adding even more comp
