Me too, I used zenburn before, but I slightly prefer solarized. I love solarized so much I even use it to read the web: http://goo.gl/jISPf ps: I minified the URL because the real one is extremely long.

I am sorry if I didn't made it clearer. Of course, you don't need to know Haskell to follow this tutorial in particular. But it is clear in my mind, you must know Haskell to do something useful with it. And in particular, make a web applica

Thanks. The source code of my website is here: https://github.com/yogsototh/Scratch/ And even if not clearly stated, everyone is free to use it and steal from it. Of course, I'd appreciate to be mentioned. If you want to have the full beh

In my experience the programmer workflow is (mostly): 1. You think about an algorithm 2. You (try to) code it 3. A first time to discover an error: compilation and/or syntax verification. 4. Then you test your code Depending of

Thanks! Spell errors corrected! When I said there is no heroku for Haskell it because it is not official. Furthermore, do you have to use a 64bit architecture when compiling (just curious)? I might try it myself. And I even think that the a

Should I add a link to this article[^1] for people confused by the Haskell syntax? The opening is not really an attack. This is the way I myself started to be interested in Haskell web programming. [^1]: http://blog.ezyang.com/2011/11/how-

What's wrong with a clear dispute? You write down your point of view and ask what you really want. Start from here. Hey, we are friends, but enough is enough. I feel the current situation is unfair. I work full time and I should get somethi

Thanks for your answer. Could you explain me how my method is not secure assuming: 1. The pass is long 2. The preimage is known If nobody can find `sha1(knownpart|hiddenpart)`, how is my method insecure? Is the problem linked t

It seems it started a flamewar about sha1 and bcrypt. First: scrypt ( http://www.tarsnap.com/scrypt/ ) is far better than bcrypt. Second here is the general idea behind the scrypt algorithm (from the scrypt slides): Algorithm ROMix: G

The main problem with this question is I get a lot a answer that simply aren't answer to this question, but only the basic good usage of cryptography. Until here, nobody said 'yes', then I assume my method is secure. I would have loved to k

I am the creator of YPassword, and each time I asked if my algorithm was secure I stumbled upon a lot of people not understanding anything about cryptography that claimed to me: "Hey! sha1 is sooo absolutely insecure! Use bcrypt!" :-/ "Hey!

I went here to make the same remark. Using compass you just have to type: +linear-gradient(color-stops(#c7def4,#d7eef4)) +box-shadow(rgba($ycolor9,.6) 0 0 4px inset) +border-radius() And it works really fine.
