Your second point is utterly infuriating. That an institution whose mission is to educate people would refuse to allow the observations of a person to refute the obviously incorrect observations of a machine is astounding to me.

On the surface, it means SSH tried, and failed, to initiate an interactive session. In context, it means that either the developer has disabled new users, or this is simply broken at the moment.

There hasn't been any official word, as far as I know, but the rumor has been that the pad abort originally intended for November might happen in January sometime.

I remember paying for Angry Birds to remove the ads, then one day sitting down to play only to find that the ads had returned. Hit game or not, too many moves like that point to cultural problems not easily fixed with money alone.

This. Trends are far more important for diagnosis than individual results most of the time . Trends in body temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc usually tell a better story than one outlying result.

Don't you think the act of creating the legislation is itself part of the peoples' changing hearts and minds? To me it seems like you have the cause and effect reversed.

This feels like pie-in-the-sky sort of thinking. Sure, you can make certain kinds of decision making processes illegal, but it doesn't change the hearts and minds of the people making those decisions. As has been said here already, thi

I wonder what this will actually look like in practice. Will they be sending subscribers restaurant-branded ingredients to make named dishes from their menus, will they be marketed as approximations, or just generic recipes?
