To summarize: - 10% of employers admit that the problem is really that the candidates they want won’t accept the positions at the wage level being offered. - Only 15% of employers who say they see a skill shortage say that the issue is a la

Will do! Actually was a bit egotistical of me to expect the reverse, hah. It's a shame that you couldn't get empowered at Yahoo to turn Flickr into this. Maybe they'll buy you back (as talent) and give you the big chair to run things? ;)

I'll join the others in saying congratulations and good work. I'm interested in using OpenPhoto myself, but like a few others who commented I'm a little unsure of what I get out of it. If you don't mind a bit of hopefully helpful criticism,

I definitely didn't expect to see my own blog as the last result on page one. Or is that because I've shared it via Google Plus and it's being injected into my personal results?

When I went from having a 2 hour commute via public transit to a 15 minute walk to work, the main thing I've been lacking is the time to read recreationally - though as someone points out below that's just me not making time for it.

In exchange for 8 months of at least moderate effort. Two people couldn't have come up with $21,000 in earnings over 8 months? (The $21,000 figure taken from the comment above me.) And they could have made that money in non-virtual currency

Seems rather pointless. To provide a legitimate service for 8 months and then abscond with the money because there are no legal consequences isn't much of a challenge, experiment or lesson to anyone. The only surprise is that they waited 8

I like it. I've been dissatisfied with my personal website ( http://yllus.com/ ) for a number of reasons, and you providing a child theme that would let me quickly switch over it just the push I needed. Thanks!

When I search for "Google tasks" in the Android Market, you're not on the first page of results. If you can't break in that way, and you don't have some spit-take inspiring new feature that would generate special press, you're simply going

The only time I've been stiffed on a contract job was, surely enough, the one time I took the "project manager" I would be working for at her word and didn't require an up-front payment.

My sympathies. I'm about to launch a PlayBook app and am fervently hoping that piracy is less of an issue with BlackBerry users. Also - I came across http://getdenso.com/ a few days ago which appears to do roughly the same thing as your a

I've been using a framework called ChocolateChip-UI that allows for persistent headers (and footers, with a very minor hack) plus almost everything else you'd want. I'm using it to build a Twitter client for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Check i

I am doing no such thing - shame on you for making assumptions about another's intentions. The fact of the matter is that even if the first sentence of his message stated that he was being held on child pornography charges, I would still ba
