Wealth is a human's worth under capitalism and arguing against riches of any kind while the number goes up is a philosophical attack on what we believe in as a society. At best you're looked at as an idiot, at worst you're th

It sounds like Uber/Lyft will eventually degrade to the level of service of the regular taxis of old, when the default expectation of interaction is to get scammed or worse. Which means that another disruption opportunity is coming soo

I see American governance being stuck in different situations without a possible way out. For example, Prop 13 in California, it is clearly not a good idea long term, it will keep suffocating the state and yet I don't think it is possi

That’s the underappreciated argument. If we to assume that the collective will power is all it takes to create an alternative asset, e.g. the narrative “gold is old, we need a new one” then it follows that it can and will be repeated. I don

This. Elon cannot manipulate Bitcoin price based on fundamentals (mostly because there are no fundamentals) but he controls the narrative. Every stock or asset he mentions goes up and I am sure he knows how to use it to his own advantage.

Elon in particular can manipulate Bitcoin price so out of them all he's actually one of the most rational. As for the rest, I would not necessarily consider institutional investors an infallible authority, they are prone to groupthink

Blockchain is the biggest "solution looking for a problem" of our time and because it looks like we've entered the meme age, I'd not be surprised if everything was reimplemented with blockchain regardless of the fit.
