No idea if it is common, but for two or three communities the community threads became rather more interesting than the rest of the sub, so there I actually know some of the mods.

Thing is, I am much more loyal to the mods of my favorite subs, then I'm to reddit. And my guess is, that is the case with a lot of the power users.

The interesting plot is SPM.5 on p.23 of the summary for policymakers. There the emission scenarios are plotted and the thing is, the scenarios that limit warming to 1.5 K or 2 K assume actively putting greenhouse gasses back into the groun

That blog doesn't read well I'm afraid. First of all, in the title it's something about climate, to then switch to Asthma. (And ctrl-F there is no mention of climate in the original paper.) Then there is some ranting about &q

No, you can have a fusion booster, like in the "Sloika" [0] design, but for a Teller-Ulam design, that is a H-bomb, you use a nuclear primer to ignite a fusion reaction and by far the most energy comes from the fusion part. [1] [0

The archeologists basically studied for the last year, what being buried in that climate and that kind of soil does to the structure. So they understand extremely well if reburying is a good idea or not.
