Given your previous comments with regard to your knowledge of finance you know this isn't such an easy thing. Their financial system is intimately tied into the euro and remaining part of the EU.

Your view is quite selective. Greece can't repay the loans and never will. Their economy has shrunk and they are in the midst of a major depression. It is quite incorrect to say Greeks have not suffered. Also, by the time of the hai

No one forced Greece to take the loans. No one forced banks to loan to Greece. Both parties are at fault. Both parties ought to take losses. Only one is in this case.

Well, number 11 is stated incorrectly so that puts doubts on the rest of the claims in your link. But I suspect your comment is sarcasm. Hmmm...what to think...

The tests with real numbers indicate that the rule is one based on order. So the problem doesn't state this but it is easily deducible when working with real numbers. Hence no need to check complex numbers. In common parlance in mat

There isn't a way to check order for complex numbers in any reasonable way.

I would have checked complex numbers for fun but there is no reasonable ordering of the complex numbers in the way there is for real numbers. It's too bad it didn't recognize pi or e.

Math person here. I'm curious to know if anyone used decimal numbers in their tests and if negative numbers were used. The rule is increasing real numbers and one can guess that the rule is increasing numbers without realizing this i

Given your view, which I largely share, shouldn't the banks suffer as well for lending so much money to such a shittily run country? The so called bailout has been nothing more than a means of giving money to German and French banks w

Nowhere have I indicated that Greece shouldn't suffer for their profligate borrowing. I mentioned that the banks should suffer as well. Nothing more, nothing less. Implicit in my posts is the belief that the banks haven't suffe

A loan is an investment. Like almost all formal investments there are rules, laws, and contracts involved. When an investment goes bad both parties tend to suffer. When I defaulted on my mortgage the bank got the house and I bought anothe

The banks voluntarily lent money way beyond the means of the ability of Greece to pay. That was foolish. They shouldn't take a loss on their foolishness? Only one party of the transaction should suffer for the foolish loans? Predato

Both the lender and the borrower have responsibilities when it comes to loans. I rarely hear people complain about irresponsible lending and the need for lenders to suffer too. In the case of Greece the suffering has all been one-sided.

Perhaps no one you know isn't denying that the Confederate flag represents slavery and racism but there are plenty of people who do deny this. Move to Mississippi to find plenty of such people.

Of course it won't make racism go away. Its banning has the positive effect of making overtly racist symbols less socially acceptable. It will aggravate anger amongst racists but I don't think it will spread said racism.
