I actually do feel that gold is too inflationary to store value. Many people simply don't realize at what scale it's being mined and how much of gold there's in the universe (hint: more than enough to build gold toilets for e

Your explanation doesn't make sense. If you actually do look at what happened with the inflationary dollar since the "late 19th century", it lost 96-97% of its purchasing power due to the monetary inflation. Which means that

Oh, but you conveniently omitted what happens after. 10, 20, 50 years. The truly important difference is that Bitcoin has an absolute upper limit, but Doge doesn't anymore. It matters. Scarcity is an important factor for holding value.

This is not an alternative to Illustrator. It's a very very basic vector editor that doesn't even let you rotate things, import any standard vector formats (SVG, EPS, AI, PDF), have dotted outlines, distort, curve the text, etc et

Bitcoin, assuming I'd does as well as before, can help against the inflation, which hits the poor disproportionately hard. And it allows to bypass the stupid laws and let's you do the online shopping almost anonymously.

Argentina is now the primary candidate for Bitcoin adoption. High GDP. Crazy inflation. Corrupt stupid government. Totalitarian-style financial laws. Easy widespread internet and mobile access. Not enough dollars.

You're still confusing the burden to pay taxes under the penalty of law in one particular country with value. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what "value" means. > That company doesn't pay the US governmen

First of all, I can pay taxes in Bitcoin. There's a company that handles it for me. Second of all, your dollar's "intrinsic value" being an American criminal law makes zero sense. It's geography-specific. Suddenly i

But transfer fees and payment fees won't go away with fiat. Credit card fees eat into many businesses' profit margins, especially the ones with low margins. And that's not the only Bitcoin's advantage.

Does dollar have an intrinsic value? Actually, can you even define "intrinsic value" without going in circles or defining it simply as current value?
