This isn't an 'intervention'. These are individuals choosing to make a change in their habits. It's for that person to decide whether changing their habits is a positive goal to pursue.

Very cool! It's a very human problem in a huge, growing market. It's also a market where introducing efficiencies can really help under-developed economies more effectively than aid [1] Best of luck to you guys, I'll be foll

The Startup section could hypothetically be limited to the shorter blurbs you mentioned. Also, deciding what should make a full 'Show HN' is extra work for yourself. Solving that by measuring real interest is presumably the on

I hope the experiment works! It's likely you have thought of this and decided against, but curious to hear your reasoning. Why would this this not work similar to the 'Show' section? i.e. a dedicated page for YC startups. Int

Agree with this. Back in ~2007 when the exchange rate was ~$2 London salaries seemed competitive. I remember travelling to the US and everything seemed cheap. In a post-Brexit ~$1.3 exchange rate, travelling to NY was painful.

Prostitution is generally framed as intrinsically bad, like drug use. Reality is more nuanced. Under regulation, drugs and prostitution are not intrinsically bad things.
