The security on iOS comes from extremely well working sandboxing, not from Apple's control. A lot of scam apps get through app review. From a security point of view app review is not effective at all. That's just a story Apple lik

I think this would be the best solution. Apples only (real) reason for forbidding sideloading is because then they could no longer force people to use their payments. If developers were free to use 3rd party payment solutions, then Apple wo

Yeah, the dongles themselves work fine, it's other USB 3 devices that cause the problem (eg. hard drives or USB 3 hubs). Bluetooth is also affected by the interference. The advantage of a dongle is that you can use an extension cable a

The problem with Bluetooth is that it just doesn't work well when you want to use one keyboard or mouse with multiple computers. For this reason I prefer the dongles. Want to use your mouse on a different Mac? Just plug the dongle in a

I once forgot to extinguish a candle before going to bed, it burned down, and produced a massive amount of soot. Their was a stripe of black suit on the wall where the candle was standing, a black spot on the ceiling, and my upper lip and n

With "family car" I meant something like the VW Touran. A somewhat affordable car that still has enough space for all the stuff you might want to take along, like strollers, backpacks, scooters, kid bikes, skis, helmets, boots wha

Fixed price projects are really really hard. You will almost always end with arguments what is in scope and what isn't. You'll always have stuff in the proposal that turns out to be a lot of work, or unnecessary, but if it's

The $5000 standalone monitor does not have a VESA mount, you have to buy an adaptor. It's ridiculous, because a VESA mount is literally just 4 holes with M4 thread. With Apple, everything is secondary to profit.

I can only speak for myself, and I hate power bricks with a passion. You need to find a place to hide them, they are annoying when cleaning, and they are annoying when you move devices (need to untangle not only cable but also power brick).
