Virtual threads are strictly better than normal threads, no? I am thinking of any reason to still use traditional threads. Is there any downside?

If there is a bug severity reported, the severity should be right; otherwise the score system should be entirely removed. If the CVE database was just codes and descriptions that would be ok. That’s not what people are complaining here abou

What do I know. A theory - they don’t want a third party code in a hot path (they do care about performance in vscode), they already have a very performant parser and they don’t want to add a complexity there. But that’s just a theory.

I like the json variant that vscode uses. It has a name that I forgot… Json but with comments and allowed commas on the end.

They way I understand this, with go 1.18, 1.22 module as a dependency will compile and produce errorneous logic (!!) if it depends on this feature Thus it will be actively dangerous using go 1.18. I understand it like that. With go 1.19, yo

From my personal experience: All banking lives on Java. All Alibaba and its Asian offsprings (like Lazada) is Java. Some big enterprises moved from Java to Go (I know of Shopee).

Go has goroutines which have better cpu and memory than threads which are commonly used in java. Java is now catching up with go and adding virtual threads which in september 2023 will have the same ease of use as go had in … 2007? But as I

No idea why you are comparing Java, which is BE, to React, which is FE. I think I will check Java once they finally make coroutines… I mean “virtual threads” a stable feature. That actually looks exciting… being able to parallelize almost l
