If you don't run Linux I would highly recommend 1Password. Great browser integration, great mobile clients. I've been using it for years and can't knock it.

I thought that at first too. But they want to make sure they're removing the correct person. I don't know how else they could do it.

Small piece of feedback but I would increase the contrast of your fonts to make it a bit easier to read (it's far from the worst I've seen but if you compare it to the DO community you link to, theirs is easier to read). Also, the

Jumping on the next-big-thing trend, but: Compilers with an AI that give you zero-cost optimisations. Plus IDE plugins for interpreted languages. Actually, I'd guess someone is already working on it :)

Does anyone know how this compares to the current implementations of competing browsers? ie. is Firefox still playing catch up in some respects or is this leaps ahead of the competition too?

I second that. Have mostly been playing with it on some toy projects of mine but works very well. Two main gripes: 1. Filesystem performance is very slow (ie. anything in /mnt), but I know they're working on it 2. I really wish

The current state of online advertising still has a significant impact on loads times, battery life and bandwidth. It's getting better and, I think, will continue to get better, in part because of the huge take-up of adblockers which i

There is LibreSSL[0] which is a fork of OpenSSL done primarily by the OpenBSD team (it was created as a direct response to Heartbleed). BoringSSL[1] is Google's attempt. [0] https://www.libressl.org/ [1] https:/&

I wonder what the reasoning was for having version 2 only terminate instances (vs burning up CPU, taking disks offline, etc.)? I assume it's something to do with what Chaos Monkey is NOT trying to solve (ie. eating up CPU is caught els

Meta: seems like a setting or plugin in their Wordpress instance is stealing the default middle-click functionality (open in new window). I always wonder what the original intent with such things is...

Hmmmm perhaps my definition of serverless is non-standard :) My thinking is that if you just have an endpoint that you can throw a container at, or something like RDS for databases, then that's serverless enough for me (at least it tak

Can any one recommend any recent books or articles on this topic? I'm particularly interested in what the current suggestions are for solutions (if any), which this article doesn't tackle.

I always considered ghost buttons to be ok, provided they are used as a secondary button in conjunction with a primary button. I'm not sure what the alternatives would be to indicate button hierarchy.
