if you write it in python or other interpreted language you would either need to bundle python or rely on users installing it or having it already (comes with macos and most linux distributions, windows not so much), so arguably a compiled

in general i would agree, but i think that github might be one exception, the free plan was expanded to include private repo's, the redesign is annoying but usable they have made some mistakes with things like the dmca notice on youtub

this has the potential to backfire much as mandatory mediation has for some companies. if enough people start making GDPR requests it will likely quite quickly create a backlog of a long time and they may be encouraged to renable useful fea

well all the keys as stated will not allow you to clone keys, except potentially the solo key hacker version and the tomu (hacker version if there is one), as the whole concept behind the 2FA devices is that you can't read the crypto k

why would you want to clone keys? the point is when one is stolen or goes missing then the 2nd key is useless anyway and you would need new keys.
