Psychological safety is a double edged sword. If you feel free to interrupt people, express dissent, and joke around during meetings then people might begin to resent you. It's a big risk. Despite feeling "safe", it's st

Most law enforcement officers don't know what an API is, so I don't know why you're saying they want them and putting it in quotes. Basically, you're just making stuff up.

The last time before I moved, I took a bunch of perfectly good furniture and other stuff I didn't want anymore and put it on my street corner. Within a day, it was gone. There was low income housing nearby so maybe one of those people

Well if you use first principles to an extreme, you might decide that work is pointless (or even bad) and you'll decide to live in a small cabin instead like Ted Kaczynski. People who claim to use first principle are usually dishonest

It has nothing to do with fairness. The way it works is a company can decide "I don't have to be here" and shut down operations there, while a country can decide "You have to pay X tax because I said so". The end re

Why will she become a VC? So she can waste her money? VC has the worst returns out of any investment class. If you mean invest other people's money as a VC, then maybe, but I haven't seen her show any interest in that.

Many solar companies are international. They have highly optimized technology for reducing $/watt that can't be half-assed by Fortune 500 companies. Customer acquisition takes a while.

The market cap of all the solar stocks in the industry ($14 billion or so) is about the same as the market cap of Twitter. Pretty baffling to me. If you're a billionaire and want to be a trillionaire, all you'd have to do is buy e

You could buy multiple domain names through Godaddy or such and just set them to forward with masking to various URLs of your heroku app. I don't see why this wouldn't work.

I prefer the "VC" style (MVC minus the M). It is way too much work to have to redefine your models on both the client side and server side, when you can simply have all the data in temporary dictionary structures. You define your
