True but so many can't do any of these! I'm OK with that up to a point because those who can have advantages over those who can't. I'm an engineer who writes well (mother was a PhD in English - could not escape it).

Last Mile Costs are still the choke point for this. And those are only slightly relaxed in high density urban locations which the USA really has very few. Anywhere else, Last Mile Costs quickly negate advantages if prices matter at all.

It doesn't actually matter that much. Most likely it came from the same source, because journalism really doesn't exist anymore and 99% of what is labeled as news is actually the product of corporate PR and marketing teams who ar

Well, fossil works and is known. Green will NOT WORK because of thermodynamics, inherent features and losses and the economic impacts of that. The only way is if EVERYONE accepts moving back to an 18th century quality of life. That'

Well, it's interesting but not "game interesting" - because doing this quickly becomes a full-time job. On the other hand, people already prone to enjoying it as a job will probably love it.

When you outsource everything about the product (R&D, manufacturing, distribution, etc.) there's pretty much zero chance you are going to plan and design the product matched to ANY market or its needs. That's what the real pro

The only way to win in financial markets is to NEVER PLAY! I was 100% out after 2008 (I saw it coming; I saw the Dot Com crash coming - I finally realized the entire system is utterly corrupt and only "the house" wins - you are NO

Centralization also reduces redundancy which is essential to system reliability - a centralized system always ends up less reliable because there's more chance of single-point failure that cascades to all parts of the system quickly.

A brilliant derivation of the thermodynamic realities of CO2 scrubbing. So much magical thinking exists about this! Of course, it takes millions of years for plants to do it, bit by bit but because humans can't think in such scales, t

No. The PCR tests are equally sensitive to influenza A and B, common cold coronaviruses, adenoviruses and rhinoviruses. THAT'S how "influenza disappeared" - i.e. it didn't at all. It's that the "COVID PCR"
