   99% of users, could just as well use another form of spreadsheet. Only complex macros or custom integration does. Perhaps very large spreadsheets, I don't know.

   They don't because they do. However maybe the Anthropic AI isn't performing well on AI generated applications. I think they will get better results by having applicants talk to an AI during the application process.

   Why does something exist? There is an easy answer: Because it can. Similar to the many world interpretation of quantum mechanics. All possibilities exist. Both a something and a nothing.
