Don't be boring. The nice thing about asking on hacker news is you get answers from experts, and you can often get insider knowledge that really isn't available anywhere on google. But thanks for the link, it's a good one ;)

Unreal. Kept scrolling and the vulnerabilities kept coming. Most annoying thing is that there isn’t even a real alternative. If I understand it right then AMD chips have pretty much the same thing?

It's really hard to tell if this product is any good: - There is no way to try out the product before actually buying it. - There are no examples of existing profiles to check out.

You might find it quite instructive to read up on the legal definitions of sexual assault and sexual harassment. It's also important to consider what consent actually is. Just because someone doesn't say no doesn't necessaril

OK clear now. Thin clients can only verify that a given transaction exists on the chain, but are not able to verify the contents of the transaction itself. Thanks for the links :)

What are the technical reasons that mean bitcoin has such a long time between blocks? Other large chains (Ethereum, Litecoin) have significantly lower confirmation times.

Why would a full node be more secure than an SPV node? I had understood that SPV nodes store only the merkle root of all the transactions in each block, so as I understand it should be able to verify whether a given transaction is valid or
