I used Open Watcom 2 in production, together with JWasm and JWlink, everything worked perfectly. Though I remember a couple issues I had and reported mainstream, they fixed it relatively quickly.

Most people do. They just rarely say it. Other people that you think are happier are often not, and they envy someone else, sometimes they envy you. World full of people who are envying each other, poor or rich, and neither are happy. Most

I am glad they didn't manage to acquire ARM. Worst company ever to be allowed such control over computing. Having to deal with their GPU drivers and CUDA blobs is bad enough already. Pure evil.

What about writing a tool to extract that signed firmware from the proprietary drivers and just using it? I think with some additional reverse engineering it's probably possible to automate this, assuming NVIDIA will not start changing

Writing complex application in Python or any other dynamic languages is a madness anyway. I often witnessed cases when developers even reused the same variable for different purposes and types just because the language allows it.

Regarding Lean I would recommend to check Lean4[1] instead. They rewrote it in Lean itself and now it has much cleaner design[2][3][4]. [1] http://github.com/leanprover/lean4 [2] https://leanprover.github.io

We have moved our book from mdBook to to the Quarto due to the inability[1][2] of mdBook to produce formats like PDF or ePub. So far it works well, amazing job! [1] https://github.com/rust-lang/mdBook/issues/8

Depression often is the seeing things as they are and being unable to accept the ugliness and imperfection of our reality. Same with cynicism.

Note though, that plain SecureBoot cannot prevent attacks like this. This is more of an area for BootGuard. The thing is, it's also not impenetrable and has its share of the flaws, same with Intel ME and similar technologies. If anythi

To be honest, some shrinking manufacturing doesn't always mean it's bad. It could be, but not always. Sometimes it means increasing the efficiency or disappearing products that aren't in the demand of the society.

Maybe the future of space travel are living spaceships. Some kind of crustaceans with outer shell, living main body, and human crew inside. Something between fungi, animal, and plant even.

I would add from experience, that using Rust would increase the speed of development like with any higher-level language than C and without the need to track memory problems. It shifts focus more on the actual development. Cargo helps to th
