Fair point, and this is actually something I was thinking about last night. I am more likely to spend $500 on a product than I am to signup for a $10 / month subscription.

It would be nice if that were offered, but tbh I would find the volume of "affirmative renewal" messages annoying. I wonder if subscription payments could be handled at the payment provider level. Ideally when I use a payment meth

I agree. In my head I group chatbots into: 1. bot that can regurgitate the faqs 2. bot that can perform actions I've had good experiences with type 2 bots with Amazon, Uber, and Doordash, refunding orders that weren't delivered, e

This feels like the sort of thing that could be easily solved with technology. Something like: if I receive a message on slack with the message hi, how are you, hello, or something similar, wait 15 minutes to notify me about it. For all oth

My problem is that I get treated like a criminal despite being a paying customer. For example: * Purchasing a show on Google grants me a license to stream it from their servers using their clients. If they ever lose the license, I lose acce

Same here. I had a Samsung Android watch for years that I would use for tracking runs, and I was never very happy with it. Slow gps fix, horrible battery life (the thing died on a bike ride when I started with it fully charged), and the tou

It's shocking to me that it requires an OBD device and a surveillance app. Can't they just check your odometer when you go to update your registration?

I think fear is the main deterrent as well. I wonder if it can just be framed as "presale" - you list on this much cheaper platform, and if it doesn't sell, you can still go the normal route. Homeshake [0] is a local company

That's one of my favorite parts of reddit. Accounts are just pseudonyms, and you can generate as many as you want. I personally generate a new one every few months, which helps keep too much identifying data from building up over time.

My last in person employer was exactly described. I wore a sweatshirt in the summer, but my hands were always cold, and I looked forward to walking to lunch to warm up a bit.

I'd love for this to be a standard across ALL pricing, not just tuition. Any costs that I am required to pay should be put into the base price that is advertised.

I still remember my math teacher that specifically told us to get a certain version of the textbook, and the version he specified was 1 or 2 editions old. Ended up costing me something like $20 to buy used vs $100 new.
