I work at a 100% remote company, and we do this as well (before covid). We're a smaller company, so I'd be curious to hear how it scales, but at least for us I've found it to work pretty well.

As an introvert, I've found it to be more complicated than that. There's a minimum level of interaction I need in my life (covid has challenged this at times), and interacting within small groups, especially with people I know wel

Exactly this. Googling to me is long term memory - I can access it, but it takes a tiny bit longer to retrieve. Stuff I use more frequently I do memorize.

My current oven literally has one knob - temperature. Doesn't even have an indicator for when it's done preheating (but if the gas flame stops, that's a good indicator it is warmed up). Honestly, it kind of annoyed me at firs

> pay the $800 annual fee whether or not you have any income Really? In the 2 states I've lived in, there is no annual fee for LLC's. I'm curious what the reasoning behind having a fee that large is.

Just watched most of the video, and holy crap, this is super cool. Jared got frustrated by the (very slow) internet options available to him, and started his own isp to solve the problem for him and his neighbors.

It's just a different approach with different tradeoffs. Credit cards push the fraud risk and fees on the merchant. Crypto can push it to the user (and in the process reduce the fees incurred). I would be happy to have a way to pay mer

The fundamental problem of ownership still isn't (and won't be) solved by the existing banking system. Money that you actually own, that you can do whatever you want with (for better or worse).
