I have printed keys at work. For my personal stuff no I don't. My fathers friend had a stroke. He was left alive but not able to use more than a few words. It was a huge problem trying to make arrangements for him. If we'd had eve

He could be wasting his time too. If he's playing on your emotions that's just manipulation. What's best for both of you? Enabling him to waste his life chasing his white whale is not the right thing to do. Especially if you

I live in NZ. Our meat is mostly grown in open fields. Except chickens. They get it rough.

My experience has been that JS is difficult to maintain. Especially when the project gets a few years old. It might just be personal preference. If you've given other languages a go and still love JS that's great. I'm glad yo

You can just accept that meat is a human food. Animals die for it. The natural world involves animals eating other animals. If you have to kill male calves because you're on a dairy farm then you kill the male calves. It's really

Many of these systems are an accessibility hellscape for users with 20/20 vision. They're bult expressly to the desires of upper management without any input of the people operating the software.

Just put the story of why you're doing what you're doing. You need the appearance of people behind the product.

Have you tried many other languages? This is not my experience at all. I find Typescript to be a world better than JS. You are correct you can write secure, high quality code. You can do that in assembler too. However that's very diffi

I write CRUD apps that run on industrial machinery. Do I need to support screen readers? Many of these machines require very good vision to operate. It's just not safe if you can't see what is going on.

I don't think we're doomed as people seem to think. Things will change and we will react accordingly. Life might get worse but it will be hard for it be any worse than it has been for the majority of human existence.

Not so much. A company name, address and some people's names behind it tick most of the boxes. A back story is even better. This is a perfect example of the kind of page I'm talking about. https://www.cadcode.com/

Yes but no one gets fired for picking Google or Microsoft. All you really need is a little background about the company running the thing. That would be enough for someone like myself to cover my ass for picking your tool.

Hmm... there is almost no information on the company behind this. The first thing I'd be doing when evaluating a tool like this is to find out what sort of backing it has. Is it going to be around long enough for our investment in buil

When there are public calls to ban bots, hate speech and every other thing on a platform, then platforms start banning people. There is very little cost to them for a false positive so they have no reason not to be a little over zealous. Th

I agree it was over the top and expect international audiences to hate it. It is saturated with Kiwi humor, thanks to Taika. As a Kiwi I got the jokes but found there was too much of it for a Marvel movie.

This boils my blood. The state should tread very carefully when breaking up families. Yes some children need protection but when the state starts to take over the role of parents they gain a scary amount of influence of the next generation.
