In adtech, we average over a 100 million operations per second and we don't even touch redis. We've been using Memcache all while and have no desire to change that.

Wake up at 9am, go to sleep at 3am or 4 am. Work from 10:50 to 2am then move around the city. Work only if I feel like working, otherwise read articles, chit chat, networking and some promotion/marketing. Can't complain.

My deploy times came down since I started using K8. Deploy just takes 20 seconds for me now. I've not measured the performance lost. Reliability/speed of rolling features has improved a lot.
