I don't like using a 10-point system because it's so ambiguous, but I guess I'm talking about going from 5-8 to 8-10. The way I mentally do rankings is Ugly - Acceptable - Exceptional, so going from Acceptable to Exceptional.

I am going to assume that you don't consider yourself to be exceptionally attractive. Correct me if I'm wrong. So, with that assumption, if you were able to wake up tomorrow morning and be on par with a "Brad Pitt" looka

I have substance. You're completely delusional if you think that being good-looking will ever be anything other than a benefit. An extremely significant one at that.

I think the article severely downplays the importance of attractiveness. If the other party finds you attractive, the bar is lowered to the point of you simply being normal/average in terms of intelligence, wit, and whatever else you w

Funny that you bring up Gangnam Style, since modern South Korea (the Seoul metro region in particular) is the closest thing to how William Gibson imagined Chiba City in Neuromancer, right down to the unregulated black clinics (though specia

I love how the first conclusion you jump to is "marrying into money". Really? You know that there are plenty of single-earner households outside of SF/SV, NYC, and the other tech hubs, right? (That aren't rich, if that n

Didn't even realize this article was 4 years old until I started reading the comments. Dating apps are the ultimate hunting ground for individuals with borderline personality disorder. They provide an endless supply of one-night-stands
