Not the person you asked, but I (in 2004) was part of sysadmin team at the school. I helped developing tools for automating many tasks around teacher and student performance measurement and tracking. I also wrote a piece of software that we

Funny. I was doing the same guided by some gut feeling, and then the Pixel vulnerability was published, where people would recover original images from the images cropped in Pixel album app

Fair enough, I haven't tried it myself, just glanced over a piece of software that does it (HMM) and saw the blogpost. In reality , though, removing just a bit pf entropy can be of great value when context is known. With LLMs in mind.

I would recommend not using pixelation as means to hide text. It is easy to reverse.

If this is meant sarcastically, I'm happy to report that most places I worked at valued "soft skills" much more than "hard skills" during hiring. The rationale was: there is no use in your hard skills in our environ

For me it's the other way around. I was always good at abstract sciences, like math and theoretical physics. Partially because I could operate in my mind with my very own abstractions. But I'm for example very bad at chess and tet

YAML isn't code. Same as your reply, YAML has very little awareness of context.

That's about where I gave up too. You make it sound like you disagree with me when in reality you do. There is no real reason to write any production code in bash or any other shell language.
