After going through all the comments I believe it's better to try and break the monolith application into smaller services rather than going for microservices. I'll approach the management with same, rather than with microservices

It's a very interesting read. But I'm looking for some technical discussion. I want some technical perspective from people in the HN community. I believe I would definitely find a lot of things that I could never imagine.
