You can use “cut” instead of “delete” and clipboard with history tracking, for example Alfred on macOS. Then you cut, do some changes, and later on realize you wanted something from the cut code, bring out the clipboard history and fish out

React used to be a team. It’s an org now. While someone from the org might have been laid off, the org will definitely stay.

I also made one of these, still working on it now with a focus on including support for accuracy/measurement errors. This is impressively close to what I have in my desired spec (but already more future proof). Congratz! https:/&

Neither Facebook nor Google are built on microservices in this fashion. Amazon is (but it’s on its own servers).

Oh so what might look like a counter balance (the long “leg” sticking out of the back of the work station) is actually space for the drawer to slide out into, because the drawers are 3m long! :O

This details how to allow for single “modifier + key” combo for opening apps instead of alt-tabbing. That sounds pretty awesome actually!

It’s most fascinating (or very obvious) - look at Conway’s Game of Life, then scale it up - a lot. Unlimited complexity can arise from very simple rules and initial conditions. Now consciousness on the other hand is unfathomable and (in its

I am really curious why “println” lives in “fmt” module. I get that it does string formatting, but it also prints, and I would expect “fmt” to only do formatting. This sours my first impression of the language. It makes me expect lots of ot

I don’t see any connection between ownership and moderation. Perhaps Elon does. But he can be called on by the Senate just as any board appointed CEO. Curious if someone can explain the connection.

If you really care about details you should preload sidenotes and other links before I click on them. Most people (I) don’t care about bandwidth nearly as much as I care about time.

The Central Subway is 2.5km long tram line that SF has been building for 12 years now, at a cost of $1.6B. Prague built 35km of tram lines in 14 years after 1893 and another 45km during the next 20 years. (Different era and tech, but still
