NVIDIA is always publishing just the numbers that it wants to publish. There are still improvements, but they are slowing down.. I'm sure the engineers did their best. The announcement skipped energy usage as well.

It would be so cool to have a high tax on sugar (and saturated fat). It has at least as much damaging effect as weed. I know it's not the perfect solution but it would force companies who want to sell in shops to decrease using it.

The nice thing here is that it's on record, so it's either true or false fact, none of the other bullshit talk is interesting.

There are enough youtube videos with people falling asleep in Tesla on the highway and a Tesla switching lanes and almost causing a frontal crash. These are known problems. Maybe a billion miles are needed for a fatal crash, but for small m

Having the same fatality statistic was not enough for Google to bring autonomous driving into production. Many people think that it should be at least an order of magnitude safer than manual driving

AFAIK people need to vote in a prime minister who would trigger Chapter 50. It's similar to the 2nd EU Referendum.

I really don't understand why good employees work in startups instead of going to an IPO-ed company. Most of the time in the current climate they are worse off.

There are so many innovations that can be done in the world (and to Android itself as well), but another new OS is not one that would make sense (maybe a HTML5+JS based, but there are already open source OSs based on that). Even Microsoft h
