It can be done with Twitter, the problem was that Elon got too emotional about it. Icahn was already looking forward to a proxy fight and just kicking out people without changing the product too much, but Elon buying his lots of shares was

It's great that nostr was on the list of competitors, as it seems like a better balance between a smart clients that compete in UX and dumb servers that compete in resilience. As it uses just a private-public keypair, it doesn't m

Does this cooperation mean that those fraudsters don't go to prison? The whole team knew about stealing billions of dollars of money, clearly there's more than 1 person (and more than 1 company's executives) that need prison

Sure, because Twitter crossed the red line for everybody when Facebook / Instagram / Mastodon links of users got blocked. This is unprecedented, no social media did that before.

Mastodon links are still blocked. Also removing a page is not a solution, they need to come up with an explicit policy at this point. I signed up to Mastodon yesterday just in case.

This is true, but I (and you) learned to say and read/write these words at the same time, so we have an advantage over native English speakers in differentiating them. At the same time the poster had a larger vocabulary than I have (wh

RISC-V wins just like Linux won in number of installations: it is already the default for new developments where x86 and ARM is too expensive / hard to use (which is most embedded processors).

Cz said to CNBC that the big four can't audit a crypto exchange. Then the reporters told him that Coinbase is audited by Deloitte. He didn't really have an answer, it's quite awkward clip.

If the compiler team already spends a significant time optimizing the compiler, the difference in velocity may be not that much. Achieving 100% compatibility on public code bases and switching is a great strategy at this point.

Thanks for finally having a SvelteKit tutorial :) I was using SvelteKit, but I really need the tutorial to get better at it (also to adapt better to the changes that have happened).
