I don't have any specific knowledge of the ARM sale but I've seen other mergers. Clearly, if a buyer is willing to pay a premium for shares, it's because they believe the company is worth that premium. If the shareholders wer

I don’t think you have to go that deep. We can simply say they don’t care at all. If we’re hair picking students vs. teachers then it is likely political distinction.

That sounds like some great excuses that don’t help any users at all. Since LibreOffice and all other major word processors do support RTL languages it does seem like OnlyOffce is inferior.

Terrible excuse. Things are read much more than they are written. That’s like using short variable names rather than descriptive ones as they are easier to type. With current IDEs that isn’t even the case and I’m sure word processors could

The Arduino Uno retails for around $30 and gives you a 16MHz CPU and 2KB of RAM so I don’t think specs and price are that related, especially when looking at different architectures.

If you could solve climate change for less than that, I think it would be splendid. To put that number in context, which is just an order of magnitude, it's $5,000 for every person on Earth, about 1.5x the current US national debt, and

As far as I can tell they canned most of the Firefox teams driving new features, so that’s how I read the situation.

I don't disagree, but that’s a failure of the other offerings to exceed the value proposition of Zoom.

Yes, check AliExpress for ESP32 dev module for a board with pins. Look at LCSC for one with castellated edges. esp32.net has info about more form factors. At my work we have a design that uses the ESP32-WROOM-32 for the Bluetooth and CPU. I

If that's the case I might as well stop using Firefox. I enjoyed it because of its performance and to a small degree to stave off Google. I'm also a big fan of developing new technology to innovate, like with Rust. But Firefox mak

I disagree on a couple of points. The idea that it takes armies of people to develop a web browser or that the Firefox's technology would be less relevant because of the existence of alternatives like WebKit. WebKit had its beginnings

Would you really pay half the sticker price of college to receive those social experiences only, without the academics and diploma? The majority of those experiences are self-organized and don’t cost the university anything. Even if that is

Exactly. That is the premise I disagree with. The general sentiment here is that people have used college as an extremely expensive social club and believe that is its greatest value. I wouldn’t think of investing $100,000 of my current or

1) College itself is not worth the cost of full tuition. College tuition costs have increased above the inflation rate for decades to become enormous. 2) Online education can be equal to in-person education and is worth the same cost as in-

I wouldn't evaluate the pros and cons of a technology based on decisions made by business executives. I would look at objective third-party comparisons of the encoding and decoding before deciding which is better: H.266 or AV1.
