Apple dropped security updates on El Capitan with release of Mojave. El Capitan is supported on MacBooks from 2009. I think it's time to upgrade.

Killing people in Hong Kong would put China into very difficult political position in the world. New sanctions would emerge and this is something China doesn't want. I think they will go with martial law & arrests.

There are people on HN that has never been to China neither Hong Kong and they simply downvote cause they only think. True experience of being harassed in China for being white is something they have never experienced.

Unfortunately Hong Kong can't be saved. Government officials are puppets of Beijing and they are all afraid of their future. They want to avoid hard labour and re-education camps...

Anyone noticed that Google is cheating with Google Photos backup? Only hi-resolution gets backed up. To back up original resolution one has to buy Pixel 3. I am kind of pissed of this marketing.

I am pessimistic cause the only way Apple can pay game developers is by use (played time). This forces developer studios to produce games that one can't finish.

Nope. I still believe in the Steve Jobs vision. "We make the best product for the lowest possible price". This doesn't look like 1 best product. And clearly all Apple pro-customers can see they are being milked.

What makes the wireless case $50 more to produce? It must use same communication chip and extra coil + wireless controller. Or it is just a way how to prepare people for the next/future price hike?
