As long there are cables connecting them, they will be fine. Whatever RIPE can do to isolate russia can be done by their peering partners, russia might do it themselves.

I can also screenshot my device showing signal/whatsapp, that doesn't make them insecure. There is a lot of email based verification/authentication happening which would benefit if the email encryption was more widely accepte

ipv4 costs will keep increasing, so if you want cheap vpses ipv6 will be the only option and this will allow you to use cloudflare network to serve the v4 users.

You failed to mention that if you haven't managed to complete this successfully(google also has a similar form: https://postmaster.google.com ), google will just mark it as SPAM, but outlook will *silently* drop your mails.

This is sad and a recent development, i was using google to search for manuals/api docs as it was better than builtin indexing. But now-a-days official sites are never the first link.

Maybe they don't want multiple TB/sec of ddos? They make the software, not necessarily should have the equipment to eat that kind of traffic.

There is a whole scene around people spending 50-100/m just around this. There is a lot of money to be made if you live in the "right" countries.

Spinning disks lose data integrity? You will be surprised where the cloud servers store your backups then. They are doing 80TB/month, you don't need 1GB/s nvme for that(assuming everything is uncached).

I am sure such a scheme embedded into a protocol would work with certain group of people. Most people would just get the same amount of spam, because they can't afford to up their threshold in a way that would deter the "marketeer

If your software can run on linux it's extremely unlikely to not work on NixOS. In fact proprietary binaries will be much easier to run since you don't have to do with non-reproducible builds in some source repo/build system.
