This is the area that lsp in general is trying to address. Most of the problems with elisp isn't its speed, imo.

I would say Xilinx artix-7 board is good enough to experiment with picorv32 and it costs only $100.

I would still prefer to have native apps, instead of spending 400MB per application.

But are they as efficient as regexp? I personally prefer regexp combinators.

Have you filed any bug report or point to one? All i have seen is a lot of handwaving about "IPC mismatch", things will not fix itself unless people actively report/help fix issues.

Opinions, tastes are essentially bike-shedding in programming and reviewers shouldn't be asking it to be fixed, unless there is a rulebook or automated tool for the bike-shedding. Otherwise programming decisions should always be fact&#

I have an xmos board(xcore architecture), although llvm has a backend for it, it is missing debugging support for timing analysis(XTA) and also outdated so potentially missing on various size optimizations. Even ignoring that, because llvm

Harsh words; but very true that the developers don't realize the chromium is open-source.. maybe they should just jump to the new drm extension, atleast that will challenge the dedicated scrapers.

Nano S pinentry works fine for me; you need enable-pinpad-varlen option for scdaemon.

The standard stdlib has all useful data structures, mostly the differences are in providing more convenient functions and monadic interfaces that you might have to write yourself, if you didn't use the alternate libraries. There is not

You don't need Core, the shipped stdlib is good enough for toy projects. There are other stdlibs like containers and janestreet has split their stdlib into smaller pieces. What's your issue with having to use alternate stdlibs? Re

No builtin utf-8 strings is a good/bad thing is debatable. You don't need to use bucklescript toolchain to write Ocaml, it has a very good package manager, the build-system tooling is getting better, already has great editor suppo

You might be working 24hrs a day, but most people don't and they can take that time out of the rest of the day just like for taking a bath, chores etc.

There is no hot reloading in the toolchain, but the compiler is very fast. I am not sure what you mean by xcode plugin, this is a js application, Reason is syntax for ocaml using bucklescript backend.

For programming languages, it should be builtin in some form for you(build systems) to extract the dependency relations. Unfortunately C/C++ are not designed for this. But some programming languages do make it possible to be automated

Maybe you should point to a better editor(or design one if you can) in vim case than simply claiming everyone is using it because they are used to it.

You wouldn't invest time and energy to build web app in rust, but you would be able to write your frontend in rust instead of investing time and energy in $JSFRAMEWORK of the year.

What? You do realize that lots of schools start entry level programming with "enlightening" languages(scheme, haskell etc)? You can write simple programs very easily with enlightening languages.
