Ingenious! What if a security incident happens just in Europe but not elsewhere? Then it becomes instantly clear that Apple’s argument against sideloading was not a strawman.

Same question could be asked in the aftermath of an incident. The argumentation is not so straightforward if looked upon in detail. Of course the question is if the reactors could have been „saved“ earlier on, but those decisions were made

If the hangnail causes a sepsis, it’s fatal in short time albeit the risk might have been low. But what if the skin is dry and weak? The German reactors were running on low maintenance because of the shutdown, anticipated for last December.

Don’t know if anyone can compare the impact of fuel wars vs impact of nuclear waste&fallout. Though I agree the former currently has a much higher effect.

I am not aware of Qt being the problem here, having built large Qt apps that run stable (coding in C++ only). I guess it is rather an issue with the Python to Qt interface.

Which is similar to correcting subpar human results: Rather than meticulously correcting the works of a subpar programmer it is much more efficient to let a proficient developer produce the code. Or even better, engage a 10x developer.

I prefer using TeXstudio as a TeX editor. Naturally, I thought that TeXmacs is the pendant in Emacs. Up to this point it did not occur to me that TeXmacs is _not_ using TeX at all. I guess that I am not alone with that thought. Does it use

So why is the page flipping animation missing in iOS16? My blind guess: due to the rewrite of the iBooks app in Swift, they did not find a swift way to take over the performance critical code in Objective C for the page flipping animation.

The basic pattern is that new investor homes can't even be rented. The investor rather chooses to keep it in pristine condition and sell it later at a much higher price. At least in big German cities, this is what I heard.
