People generally get shat on when they give suggestions for improving the site. At this point everyone has accepted that it is what it is and made up reasons why it's a good thing. "It filters out the people we wouldn't want here", which is

Does facebook expose their email address to you? I would like to use this to allow people to invite their friends to sign up for my service but I'm not sure how I would do that. I guess I could use facebook APIs to send them a message in li

Very nice! I might try to use it later today for a project I've had cooking for a while. What is the structure of the friends object after the dialog closes? What information do we get about them?

Good work. I understand the stance you were taking but it's equivalent to "I think wooden bats are better for baseball, so I make my tee-baller use a wooden bat." You were fighting the right fight but on the wrong field. Don't let people ma

Why would he register it to an Iranian address if he's living in the US legally? I highly doubt that they have any interest in stealing his domain, they probably just had to register it to someone rather than leave it in limbo. I think tha

I'm in the middle of redesigning my portfolio page. This is where I am so far: http://claudesutterlin.com it's nothing great but if you're interested in building off of it I'll share the code.

Go on iTunes-U and download the Stanford iOS lessons. That's the fastest and best way to learn iOS development. As for Mac development... I'm not sure. I've not dabbled in that yet.

It's actually done pretty commonly. Usually as a "hey, I love working here and would love to stay, but I have an offer from company XYZ for $X. Is there any way we can work toward that number?" My friend just got a $10k raise in a day doing

The more important thing is that HE thinks that he's underpaid. It's clearly something that he's put quite a lot of thought into. I think that ultimately he's looking for a push, or some confidence boost, to approach his boss. So OP, my ad
