I am curious about the potential of this app for community organizing, or if any neutering has taken place in the same way AirDrop was limited during Hong Kong protests in 2020.

The poster is located in the Netherlands, which may have entirely different AppleCare+ T&C versus the States. The quoted contract indicates “handling” as a qualifier for the cause of accidental damage. I can’t quite tell, but I assume

I would best guess that each era of Mac OS design was heavily intertwined with display technology of the time. Pinstripes were for CRT raster. Brushed metal detail was for LCDs. “Sparkly” metal in Leopard was for higher res LCDs, and so on.

Short of constantly stirring a pot full of the ice cream custard, do you have any solutions for getting the mixture up to temperature without scalding the milk/cream?

That’s a shame re: NetApp/ZFS. While third-party ports are great, they lack deep integration that first-party support would have brought (non-kludgy Time Machine which is technically fixed with APFS).
