Canadian domain names in the 90s also followed this newsgroup-like syntax: <website>.<city>.<province>.ca At least one site (transit.toronto.on.ca) still has an active domain in that format, even though it’s not operationa

I’m wondering what the process was for the early UNIX developers to attain this level of productivity. Did they treat this as a 9-5 effort, or did they go into a “goblin mode” just to get it done while neglecting other aspects of their live

I can’t understand how someone can say with certainty the capacity down to a single digit (327 9 ). There would be manufacturing differences that would induce at least some variation from phone-to-phone.

My best guess is that it’s for differentiation. For example, the SE never had Qi when the rest of the lineup did.

The 90s were a time when hypotheticals such as this were hotly debated by nerdy children at recess. I am very satisfied to see this project to come to fruition.

I set up family with powerline adaptors about 6-7 years ago. They worked great for their application. The only side effect was the range on the garage door opener remote dropped significantly.
