Ah, sorry. I forgot part of the story :) No, after over a month of them saying "it'll take a week for it after I escalate" and then me calling a week later and starting the whole conversation over, one day it finally was unlo

I was already an existing TMobile customer. I bought myself and my wife an iPhone 11 in cash when the phones were brand new. Never had a contract. Already had an LTE plan, didn't change that plan at all. Just bought two new phones from

I used that until we moved to Teams for all video calls. And it doesn’t have that feature :( I’ve looked around for an app like this. But they’re all paid and the security prompts are a little scary.

I’ve wondered about this wrt public transportation. They keep raising prices, making it less affordable for people. Eventually basically no one is riding, so they … raise prices. It seems needlessly expensive to me to run empty busses. I’d

+1 here. I've been facilitating a video game maker club for kids aged 11-15. I have ~7 kids who come. Most kids are 11-13 but 2 are 15. Since they're all new to programming in general the club has mostly been me teaching them. The

It’s actually not _predicting_ what emoji you want. There’s aliases assigned to each emoji and you are presented with the options based on the last word you typed. You might know this already, but how Apple has coded it is it’ll replace the

I do the same on Safari on iPhone. Enable the accessibility setting and browsers can't lock your zoom anymore.

Yeah. I get that. And I’m sure there’s some SEO-style positive feedback you get for it. But also being able to pitch it to me in a simple way and then using Loom as an example I think would be more helpful. “Screen recording software that e

Some honest feedback: describe your product/tool without using a competitor’s name. I’m on mobile and the landing page only tells me “recording software” and “Loom” before it drops into Twitter like 3rd party comments. I honestly have

Slightly different angle: I’ve been digitizing my grandparents’ journals. Something I’ve appreciated is the mundane. “Had a headache. Went to bed early” seeing how often my grandpa was sick was very eye opening to me. “Got the X repaired&#x

I had a Samoyed when I was a child that knew Sunday. We had a specific routine for him while we went to church. He’d stay in the backyard in his large kennel while we were gone. After not too long we’d wake up Sunday morning and he’d go str

I agree. Teams is an app of a constant stream of little frustrations to me. It’s led me to believe that no one who develop/designs uses this tool at all internally. Not just confusing UI, but buggy UI. It’s not abnormal for people on m

My point is: the wall blew out. That’s never happened before. We should not allow this to be okay because no one died this time. Overall statistics improving doesn’t mean you have permission to start throwing a random person off the plane e

I've heard a lot of people say this in these comment threads, and I think this glosses over the actual issue: safety is getting worse, not better or even staying the same. So it's MORE statistically significant than it was. The tr

That’s absolutely false. I can be disgusted at both. I can be more disgusted at how much more terrible Israel’s destruction is AND be disgusted that Hamas attacked in the first place. And still not be pro-either-side. The amount of death an
