It’s when there are shows about women, black, and gay people. I’m not joking - that’s what they are complaining about.

There is an easy way - reduce your withholding and then pay your taxes in a timely manner in the new year to avoid the underpayment penalty.

Ok but the fact is a lot of regional banks didn’t buy very long-dated treasuries

Yes, the solution for a distressed bad medium-sized bank is for a larger good bank to buy them before they unwind chaotically have bring down other banks / the economy. That’s been the correct/reasonable approach for centuries. No

There are multiple versions/types of HP printers. Some have higher price/high marfin printer hardware but either have very large toner/ink tanks that last for a long time and are very cheap per page, or allow third-party cart

The evidence is that I am a subject matter expert and there is a very big difference between a derivative (ie half) node and full node. If you want to learn more about full vs half nodes, I would start with google.

The Trump Whitehouse was in the process of intentionally contravening much of the administrative state - EPA, CDC, NRLB, IRS, USCIS, etc etc. So overturning precedent to favor anti-labor policy was perfectly consistent with the overall visi

Except for a brief period when HiSilicon was still making leading edge SOCs, Apple has been the first customer on TSMC’s new process technology, and always with a custom process flavor. This is completely normal.

Yes, they found elevated rates of some cancers in people who spent their careers in poorly ventilated vinyl chloride production facilities. For the sort of concentrations and durations we’re talking about in East Palestine, it’s not carcino

Fish are extremely sensitive and die off all the time from levels of contamination that don’t pose much concern for people.

That is correct. Not a single person in East Palestine was hospitalized.

Phosgene also has very low environmental persistence. I think the actual amount of dioxin created from combustion of vinyl chloride monomer at atmospheric pressure is very low. In any event, both were dispersed into the atmosphere at concen

If I drank private well water in east Palestine I would make sure that contamination was closely monitored and drink bottled water for a while. Drinking water from the tap? Yes I would do that.

They burned off the vinyl chloride because the combustion products are relatively benign, it was much safer to remediation personnel to ignite the chemicals in a controlled burn vs having them work around flammable chemicals for weeks, viny

Are you talking about Ethylhexyl acrylate? Not very toxic outside of high dose acute exposures.

Which animal die offs? Like I said, vinyl chloride has very poor environmental and biological persistence. Any die off of livestock that was going to happen would have happened 2 weeks ago.

I think you’re overestimating the cost of this cleanup by 2 or 3 orders of magnitude. Vinyl chloride is not particularly toxic, has low environmental persistence, and does not bioaccumulate.
