I haven't yet seen it - the only Ghibli animation I did not dare to watch. Heck, I cry my eyes out after each and every one, I might as well just jump from a bridge... Though Pom Poko is wonderful (another Takahata one), it's envi

My hero. Pretty much I'm the only one in the whole webdev team who prefers linux over mac :D Fortunately now that we have figma, nothing ties me to win or mac.

Btw why do we think that the downloadable archive contains everything they have? Because they said so? Just add a bool field to the table "canExport".

First lesson in DB class: do NOT delete. Just flag. I can give you plenty of statements about how I'm Santa Claus though.

In 2018 frontend development reached the point where multiple pages with a working scrollbar seems to be beyond our reach. In the meantime the "glorious" IBM releases a free font, and this is newsworthy. I think the Internet, whil

Yet github will not let you turn off star ratings, commit history and the fancy commit graph (which I consider social features). I know it's not an indicator of how good a dev you are, but "sometimes" recruiters are clueless

In countries where lobbying is illegal I'm pretty sure there are other more (or less?) democratic processes in place to communicate the needs of the people and business be that big or small.

I never liked medium, their comment UX is weird and annoying, the whole thing is just faceless, brandless and feels generic. Mabye I'm old, but I find shared hosting with one click deployment of wordpress a better choice, but heck, mos

Don't they have a .fig format that you can export/import, share? Plus they have the standalone "native" app, so I don't really get you here. Have you tried parsing a PSD file? Have you seen the PSD spec? It's p

Figma route. Sketch is not exactly crossplatform and they seem to be proud about it - or at least a bit nonchalant. We voted with our wallet here. Was not my decision at all, but so far I like figma.

Shadow dom and proper scoping (whichever popular method you chose for that) is a god send. I really dislike BEM though, we have files that have more classnames than content and tags combined :D

First you have to implement a download data function. I might be pessimistic, but with many sites requiring a login still on http and with the wonderous amount of bugs in web apps this may not be as easy as it sounds. But then: let them bur

No docker here and it hurts us, but it's just impossible to get the cms and core backend into docker containers. I heard all kinds of smartypants recommendations from yes you can to look for another job. Whatever.

Yes, the preloading is a dirty trick. Google has the power to play dirty and noone dares to slap him in the face anymore. Don't be evil -> do the right thing -> do what's right for Google.

It's not the framework, it's the people (and their whoring greed mixed with dilettantism). I love vue, I'm okay with A5 and react. I usually do node stuff, but php is okay nowdays, symphony is a good thing too.
