Second this. They're genuinely amazing, with IIT professors teaching their subjects (for engineering). It's basically Indian OCW.

That is a wonderful channel, I can attest to that. Superb content, and he's focused on one thing - testing, reviewing and recommending game development tools.

I trust them personally. Jon von Tetzchner, the founder of Opera, left Opera to start Vivaldi once he felt management wasn't doing things the right way.

Hi! Not sponsored or anything, but if you want a separate search bar, Vivaldi (vivaldi.com) has that. Just thought it might help.

We should have something like the Wikipedia list of lists of lists, sorted by HN submissions on several topics.

Surprisingly for me, it's the other way around! Equations build intuition in my case, although I'm not sure why.

>How much would it cost the Indian government to develop detailed coaching videos by IIT professors and upload it for free to YouTube? That's EXACTLY what they did. Look at IIT-PAL on YouTube.

In the JEE, you generally assume the range to be the distance the projectile covers before reaching the launch height again, unless specified otherwise.

You have to assume the angle of projection is 45 degrees, in which case the range of the projectile becomes (u^2/g). (Since Range = (u^2)(sin2(theta))/g) Hope I helped!

Hi! I'm a JEE aspirant - is there any way I could contact you to have a bit of a chat? Of course, only if you're kind enough to accept - I'll understand if you don't, however :)

It's interesting to note that Ramanujan also completed SL Loney's books on Coordinate Geometry and Trigonometry before he turned 12. These books are today used by almost every aspirant in the IIT-JEE, the engineering entrance exam

So if I understood correctly, it's more about using the name of the journal as a verification of the study the scientist is doing, since the person funding them probably won't understand the research. Am I right?
