You know what is also good for crime? Dollars! Everyone takes then. Even worse they are harder to trace. Do you see anyone wanting to ban the dollar or claim that it's good for crime?

Here is one thing you can do with crypto that you cannot do with a credit card: use your money how you would like. There is no payment processor to decide that you are not allowed to send or receive money.

Never is a long time. I'm going to say that AGI will be able to drive a car. AGI is very far into the future but I would not say it's impossible.

There are at least 2 things here: 1) the laws and how they are applied and 2) what is in the interest of the people and what should the laws be? I can trust law enforcement to do its job. Heck I might even trust it to do the right thing whe

my claim was that buying the drugs was safer (my words: in a safe manner). Everything else in the "pipeline" being equal if one part of it becomes safer the whole thing is safer. Want to eliminate production that happens in places

I believe that humans and human intelligence is pretty limited. We are overcoming our limitations by using abstractions and tools. People today are not significant smarter than people 5000 years ago. We just have better tools which allow us

What a world we are living in. Mostly illegal. Huh. Do you have any data to back this claim? Also, should banks be banned if their customers are doind shady things outside of using their services?

That's a very limited way of looking at things. You're fine with banning X and Y because you don't see them impacting you. When Z is banned and you care about Z you'll have a rude awakening.

Not saying you're wrong, but all this is optics and there is quite a bit of brainwashing at work no matter where you live. What is an illegal attempt to do something? Who decides what is legal?

Read the comment. The point was not flexibility. The point was that we could be a post scarcity society where we don't have to work. At all.
