Is Google Sheets designed for this sort of usage? I would have been worried about hitting some undisclosed limits with the service. A single dedicated server is not that big of an expense either. The site probably could even run on a single

Coinbase doesn't have any lending products. Aside from one that will give you USD as a loan for holding your BTC as collateral which isn't the same thing. They do offer staking but that's the not the same either. Return is ge

Probably wouldn’t be as useful to run compute tasks on a PS5. It mostly uses off the shelf hardware so I can’t imagine it’s better than just buying say the latest AMD Ryzen or Nvidia GPU. With the PS3, particularly the CPU, it was quite ahe

I've encountered some APIs that use this. My question is, why? It doesn't really improve security - someone determined enough can match the fingerprint or send requests using the same library that the originating app uses. It feel

Yep, it'll take a long time to bottom. That said, I'm surprised how much things have already fallen in AZ. Some of the properties with 10% price cuts, have been sitting on the market for over 2 months. Demand has fallen off a clif

Housing prices are correcting now, at least in some areas. It's definitely happening in AZ. I've seen drops of almost 15%. OpenDoor has been taking a loss on a lot of properties it bought over the past few months too. Considering

Inflation is just as high in the EU is it not? It's probably the flight to safety effect. Monetary policy is shifting, Fed has said they will keep tightening until inflation is back to 2%. For whatever reason a lot of people keep betti

I agree it is a cheap price for FB but the macro environment matters too… if we are entering a recession tech stocks will see more downside still.

It hasn’t started cooling yet here in AZ, still seeing properties going for over list and prices are still climbing. That said I see interest rates are now approaching 5% so have to imagine it might pull back some soon, really depends on th

A lot of stocks have gone back to 2019-2020 levels. FB being a big one. If you hold an index fund like VTI though, that's done well. These last few months really highlight the dangers of stock picking, even with big companies.

Interesting that you mention FB, considering it's just had a 40%+ drop over a matter of weeks. Compared to other FAANG, the drop is massive. FB is now only up around 30% compared to early 2017. If you'd bought GOOG or AMZN during

yeah where I live in AZ, Zillow overpaid massively for every home it purchased that I've seen. Like 15-20% over usual price. And they've priced the homes they are selling quite a bit below what they bought them for already. Many a

I mean that’s what happened in 2017-2018 yet again we are repeating the same bubble. I guess these crazy run ups will end at some point but I see no indication this will be the last.

This seems more of a product to keep their investors happy than it does actually improving the crypto ecosystem. Feels like you lose the decentralization benefits of crypto when you are doing everything over a centralized service. I don

Going by this... https://www.cpubenchmark.net/market_share.html Intel still has 90%+ of the server market. It only just started moving over to AMD. They did gain a lot of ground over Intel in the desktop market though.

People don't care about inflation specifically, but they do care about how it is affecting them. For example, lots of people seem worried about getting priced out of buying a home these days, which inflation has certainly contributed t

Lot of people bring up the Nikkei but averaging in money in was still better than holding cash over a long enough time period. I highly doubt anyone bought at the peak and then never bought again afterwards.
