I mostly use Reddit apps ever since the UI overhaul. You can pretty well reduce it to just text. Somehow though, Reddit doesn’t feel very community-oriented. Out of my many years there, I don’t know any other users by their handle. I haven

Cherry-picked headline. From the quoted interview: CON - The process of fracking can leak methane into the atmosphere (that's bad news re: climate change) Methane leaks are an unintended consequence through poor wellbore casing designs

The beauty of git is that YouTube-dl is backed up on all of the contributors’ machines, and they can easily push to a new head server. Removing it from GitHub doesn’t kill it. Just moves it off of the most popular platform.

The versatility of the port is amazing. It’s very useful to be able to use the same cable to charge, move data, and push audio and video. However, it’s confusing AF. I feel like the first failure really is that it’s very unclear which ports

You’re right. I just meant obscure from the end-user perspective. It’s not clear what’s wrong to uneducated users, only that their text looks weird.

Usually it works perfectly. Sometimes it doesn’t. I’m occasionally stunned by how such a fundamental thing as text representation can be ruined by obscure encoding issues. For example, there is absolutely no way to be certain of the charact

Why not just a slight adjustment to what you already have? Make the chat dialog openable via JS API, and then any button or “nav link” can be made to open the dialog.

The real question facing us now, I believe, is how is AMD going to compete with ARM-based silicon? I believe that ARM is on the path to dominance due to performance per watt. Does AMD have a path to continue to win at that game?

Yes. This. Things change. Deal with it. And yet, things don’t have to change at an indigestible rate. Windows, for example, is changing so fast lately, that directions for use change on a semi-annual basis, and self-consistency is almost en
