Overdoses would certainly be reduced by a large extent by legalization. Also, drug education that is more rational and nuanced than "drugs are evil and will ruin your life" will go a long way in preventing the kinds you problems y

Most of the issues that afflict drug users stem from their illegality. 1. Drugs are frequently adulterated because of lack of any regulation. Adulterants are responsible for most of the side effects of heroin use. The only side effect of pu

To be fair, this occurs with most mainstream languages. I'm pretty sure a beginner has no idea what "public static void main(String[] args)" means.

I went through a Lisp phase exactly like that. Currently I'm going through an extremely similar Haskell phase. I've learnt half a dozen languages before these two, but I've never experienced the satisfaction and obsession I&#

Personally, I believe Haskell syntax is a work of art. Learning how it fits together with currying is extremely satisfying. Also, the meaning of all the operators you mention, with the exception of (>>=), is immediately clear from the

I've heard claims that it is only so because you come from an established imperative mindset, and that it would be as easy(or difficult) for a person with no programming experience to learn Haskell as a traditional imperative language.

Many confusing operators certainly exist(especially in Control.Arrow), but the ones you have mentioned are the worst possible examples you could give. All of those have a clear meaning, and are extremely useful f . g y . h z a . f

Aside from a select few free software communities, the Apple community is the one I've witnessed the most negativity and hate in. Maybe this is because people in both of these communities feel they are "special" somehow, and

I haven't used 3D modelling software, but I presume that you would look up things as you need them as in any other software, and not memorize everything in the beginning. Things that are commonly used will be memorized automatically.
