I don't detest your thought, I just find it ridiculous. If you want to use the life as software analogy, here's one. Life is about making choices, and choices involve tradeoffs. If life was like software, to remain free to move around in an

While I think I understand you, and maybe a little sympathetic to keeping the language little, I simply cannot agree because what you said is basically contradictory. It's same old argument I guess, but MIPS is simple and consists of only v

As a long time webdev, I too took a fews years back in around 05,06 to figure out how misleading w3school's content is, but since then, I've compiled a list of resource to help myself relearn the webdev process. But be warned, there's no sh

Haha I knew that post was going to be unpopular. FYI, Opera had been free as in beer since 2006, Safari on Windows since 2007. Irrelevant to the browser market of course because either had the number of extensions FF had available. Opera al

The problem is not callback, the problem is that callbacks exists in Javascript. Callbacks themselves, when used wisely, can often enhance code readability, hell LISP has had function references since forever, but I think the most complain

This is nice if you just want a really really lightweight date humanizer with no i18n support. If you want a full-blown date/time parser/formatter/humanizer, I highly recommend moment.js http://momentjs.com/
