One of my Uber drivers just drove during school hours as he dropped his grandchildren off at school and then picked them up at the end of the day. But nearly all my Uber drivers have been immigrants working full time or more.

If you use temp tables you're subverting the optimizer. Sometimes that's what you want but often it's not.

I'm surprised you had issues with CTEs -- MS SQL has one of the better CTE implementations. But I could see how it might take more than just trivial transformations to make efficient use of them.

A lot of SQL engines don't support aliases in the HAVING clause and that can require duplication of potentially complex expressions which I find very bug-inducing. Removing duplication and using proper naming I think would be much bet

I still don't get what you mean. Clearly Windows isn't the same as it was 39 years ago and if it didn't change in all that time we wouldn't still be using it. Every operating system rewrites fundamental core features a

Even if you exclude performance reasons, some things just make more sense as values rather than instances. A good example is Color. A Color might be an object that holds 3 integers (red, green, blue) but you want to treat it like you woul
