I hadn't really thought about that before. But I still think the sudden, cataclysm still could render humans extinct on Earth even if Mars is a more difficult climate. Mars dwellers would have had a great deal of time to prepare for th

I do think it's possible that streaming game services and what you are talking about wind up a little different. I could imagine that streaming game services could spin up and down servers more dynamically depending on demand. There wo

Maybe worse for you. My experience certainly contradicts your claim. And I suspect that your claim is anecdotal as is mine. The difference is I am only speaking about my experience where you are attempting to make a sweeping judgement based

I found wikipedia's interface to be pretty unfriendly for me as a new user. Stackoverflow was a lot easier for me to get started with. Maybe that lower barrier to entry leads to more random posts from people that are "low quality?

It's funny, the worst engineer I ever hired did great on our Codility tests. Maybe he just cheated, he actually scored higher than myself. Just a little anecdote but we no longer use Codility at my company. :)

Same. I've never had someone come in for a face-to-face interview that literally couldn't code at all. I've worked at and interviewed loads of people from small startups all the way up to a top 5 US tech giant. Still have nev
