You’re probably assuming youtube doesn’t know about the scale of this problem and all it takes is to show it. It absolutely does know it and “be big enough to get human assistance” is their conscious mode of operation. They couldn’t care le

Good morning, isn’t it? This goes for years, happens to every youtuber from time to time. And if they are tiny and have no creators community, they often just swallow the “demonetization” fact.

There are lots of “companies” like this. Don’t think about buying this apologetic do-gooder tone, it’s an id claim troll trying to cover his ass after touching something they can get face punched for by the whole internet. Which the interne

It’s just a term that signals “completion in between” rather than “after”. Regular code completion usually doesn’t take the following blocks into account mostly because these are grammatically vague due to an ongoing edit. Your comments may

This is a common library issue, it doesn’t know and has to be defensive and featureful at the same time. Otoh, end-user projects usually know things and can make simplifying decisions. These two are incomparable. I respect the effort, but I

you can use one http query per message - but that’s insanely inefficient over the wire Use one http response per message queue snapshot. Send no more than N messages at once. Send empty status if the queue is empty for more than 30-60 sec

The logic here is that it's you who come to visit, not them. But the next issue is that everyone agrees it's not normal for a private service either, even if it's free, and it should be disallowed. But laws don't work li

It can actually be done correctly, like e.g. safari does it in the top-urlbar mode. - When a user scrolls content-up in any way, the header collapses immediately (or you may just hide it). - When a user scrolls content-down by pulling , wi

It works since forever on ios in most (native) apps, including the browser. Tap on the "clock" to scroll up - that is the home button. In safari you might need to tap again, if the header was collapsed.

Extensions are already there: ubo, stylebot. We just have to invent a way to share user-rule snippets across these. There will always be a gray zone between trusted adblock lists included by default and some preferential things.

I don't keep a "dick bar" that sticks to the top of the page to remind you which site you're on. Your browser is already doing that for you. A variation of this is my worst offender, the flapping bar. Not only it takes

Idk which was worse in my experience, the one with basic nonsense or the one who prescribed me SSRIs after a short talk. I quit by myself after a couple of months and will never touch this crap or walk into his office again.

I’ll try to take your point and let’s assume that it worked for me due to “therapothropic principle”. But I have three questions, all seem to be related. 1) It still involved structured work without which it couldn’t sort out on itself. Oka
